This cozy home nestled in the heart of Santa Ynez wine country, surrounded by lush oak trees and rolling hills, was ready for a thoughtful transformation. Built in the 1980s, the kitchen and bathrooms still bore the marks of the past—outdated oak cabinetry, tile countertops, and an overall disjointed look that didn’t reflect the peaceful lifestyle our client desired.

Our client, a retired professional seeking comfort and calm in her forever home, dreamed of a cohesive interior design that would tie the spaces together with a soft, modern palette. We set out to deliver just that—unifying the kitchen, hall bathroom, and primary bath through consistent finishes, cabinetry, and color stories.

We introduced custom mahogany cabinetry in a unique grey-washed finish, paired with crisp white painted cabinets to brighten the space. Matte black plumbing fixtures and sleek black hardware were softened by touches of brass for a warm, sophisticated contrast. Quartz countertops with delicate gold and grey veining added timeless elegance, while soft blue glass tile brought in the harmonious pop of color our client had envisioned.

The result is a serene and elevated take on wine country living—where the kitchen feels clean and calming, and the bathrooms offer both functionality and a spa-like experience for everyday use or weekend guests.
